More wind farms could spring up across the Westcountry after a Cabinet minister paved the way for an increase in turbines to prevent a UK power crisis.
Energy Secretary Chris Huhne yesterday spoke in favour of extra onshore and offshore wind power as he prepared to make a key policy statement to the Commons tomorrow.
