Ever since the train line arrived in the town for the first time, Penzance has been the starting point for millions of happy holidays in West Cornwall. The Penzance tourist office provides information on staying in the area (inc booking), information on attractions and much more.
The Tourist Information Centre in Penzance was situated immediately opposite the main entrance to the railway station.
Unfortunately in early 2011 the tourist office was closed by cornwall Council
